All our prices include 21% VAT (exception: books 6% VAT) and exclude shipping costs.

1. Orders and Payments

For payment you can choose from the following options: Bancontact, IDEAL, Credit card and PayPal.

Any inaccuracies in the billing must be reported directly to De Hartjesdief by the customer, so that we can correct the amount.

2. Shipping

Worldwide delivery.

Shipments are made via Sendmyparcel with tracking for all packages.

From an order of 70 € there are no shipping costs to Belgium and the Netherlands. If your package is not picked up at the collection point and is returned to us, the return costs will be borne by the customer.

De Hartjesthief cannot be held responsible for damage, theft or loss of goods during shipment via bPost, PostNL or DPD.

We do everything we can to pack the goods as well and safely as possible.

3. Discounts

Discount codes are only assigned to certain customers or customer segments, such as e-mail subscribers. In the event of abuse, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

Discount codes cannot be combined unless stated otherwise. Also, the discount codes do not apply to already discounted items.

4. Right to cancel the purchase of the goods - right of withdrawal

The consumer has the right to inform the seller that he is canceling his purchase, without paying a fine and without giving a reason, within 14 calendar days from the day following the delivery.

The buyer must return the product to the seller within 14 calendar days in its original condition, unused, undamaged, with all original labels and in the original packaging.

The seller undertakes to refund the purchase price of the product paid by the buyer (excluding shipping costs) within 30 days of receipt of the product.

In the event of incorrect return in accordance with the foregoing, the seller will not be obliged to pay any amount and the product will remain the property of the buyer. He can then collect it from the seller within 14 days or at the express request of the buyer and return it to the buyer at his expense.

The risk of returning the product as well as the cost of returning it are borne exclusively by the buyer.

If the package is not picked up at the collection point and is returned to us, the return costs will be borne by the customer.

5. Exchange

Still not satisfied with your product? That's quite annoying. We try to solve this as follows:

• 14 days reflection period after receipt of your product
• When exchanging: we ship the new product free of charge

Articles purchased through the webshop of De Hartjesdief can be exchanged within a period of 14 days, after day 1 delivery, provided that the product is unused, undamaged and provided with all original labels. Worn, soiled, smoked, washed, damaged or repaired goods cannot be taken back.

We ask you to inform us within 5 working days of the fact that you wish to exchange a product.

The costs and the risk for returning the products lie solely with the buyer.

We reserve the right to refuse an exchange if we suspect that the product has been damaged by the customer, has already been used or if the reasons are unfounded.

Sales or products in action cannot be exchanged.

6. Complaints

We try to describe the offered items as accurately as possible and to clarify them by means of photos.

If typing errors occur (material errors), this is based on a human, involuntary error and no rights can be derived from this.

Colors in the photos may also differ slightly from the real colors.

Settings and quality of your screen can affect this, as well as the incidence of light.

We therefore cannot accept exchanges based on color deviations.

If you are unsure about a certain product or would like further information, you can always contact us for more information.

We reserve the right to adjust our prices.

We make every effort to check our products as well as possible for any errors or defects. We are not liable for any defects in the articles offered on our website. We ask you to address the relevant manufacturer. Please also inform us of this so that we can also check the products additionally.

We make every effort to prevent, remedy and resolve any complaints.

We cannot be held liable for injuries or damage resulting from the use of our products.

7. Warranty

As imposed by the legal provisions, our products also come with a legal guarantee.

If a product does not comply with the agreement, the buyer must inform the seller of this within 7 days following delivery.

Any compensation for this can never exceed the invoiced/paid amount to the buyer. Normal or normal wear and tear, unintentional or intentional changes made by the buyer to the product, the inability to present an invoice or proof of payment and various negligence are explicit but not exhaustive exceptions to the aforementioned warranty system.

8. Ownership Right

No data or photos from our site may be copied or used without our express permission.

In addition to the legitimate interest, there may also be a legal obligation to use your data, for example in the event of suspected fraud. Sometimes you have also given permission to use your data, such as when registering for a newsletter. This is all tracked.

Your data will only be passed on to other parties if this serves to provide you with a better service. This concerns delivery service, suppliers, payment partners, parties that collect the reviews or external parties that provide IT-related services to our webshop.

The data management platforms, media and advertising agencies and research agencies come into play as soon as we show targeted advertisements, based on your interest in certain products.

The parties that receive access to your data from us may only use it to provide you with a service on behalf of De Hartjesdief. We never sell your data to third parties.

Your data is kept in various databases and is not kept longer than necessary. We delete inactive customer accounts after 7 years. We use this period because we have to keep your payment details for 7 years in accordance with tax legislation. We can then use the data anonymously for internal analyses.
