This wooden Kubb game from Goki, which is also called the viking chess game, can be played with 2 or in teams. A classic, truly an indispensable garden game.
You demarcate the playing field of 5 meters by 8 meters with the 4 corner sticks. Each team puts 5 towers on the back line. The king is in the middle. The object of the game is to knock down all the towers of the other team with the sticks. In the end, the team that knocks over the king wins!
